Spread the love

Sorting data means rearranging data under a variable in a data set. We usually sort data using SPSS because it is very simple and easy to perform.

Sort data using SPSS

1. If we want to sort data in ascending or descending order, then we have to go to the “menu bar” and click on “data” and select “sort cases” .

2. Now a box is open named “sort cases” and select the target variable which we want to sort then select the sorting order(ascending or descending) and click “ok” .
For example: we select the “id(identity number of the student)” and sort the variable into “ascending order”
